St. Pete winter fishing report

Winter fishing has been good so far in the Tampa Bay area. Lots of sheepshead have moved in with all the cold fronts. On days when the wind is calm enough we have been able to head offshore looking for hogfish, triple tail, sheepshead, snapper, and more. On other days when it’s windier we stay inshore to target sheepshead, snapper, redfish, black drum and even some of the lethargic winter time snook.

The nice part about winter time fishing is it’s not scorching hot out! Don’t miss your chance to get out and enjoy the beautiful winter time weather we have here in Florida!
